I couldn't help but notice how pretty the frozen puddles were as I made my way to one of my favorite places to study for finals week, so I stopped my bike and snapped a photo. This particular one had leaves embedded in it, reminding me of both resin jewelry and fancy ice cubes.

Holiday decorations are popping up around campus, everything from lights in the trees in the quad to wreaths and pine boughs at the Reynold's Club. Even the house lounge in my dorm has been gussied up for the holiday season, complete with our very own Christmas tree.

Today we had our first snow of the school year. It was beautiful watching from my vantage point on the upper level of the law library, where I was busy at work studying for finals. You can't really see it in the photo above, as it was just a light snow flurry that didn't stick, but there was snow nonetheless! In this picture of the building I snapped from outside, you can see a bit of snow if you look closely.
